One attraction in UEA seems interesting, The Deira Clocktower, sometimes referred to as the Dubai Clocktower, is a circle in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Nowadays are most popular hotels and extra average construction this circle is crucial because it was one of first landmarks in Dubai. The Clocktower is located in eastern Dubai in Deira, at the crossroad of Umm Hurair Road and road D 89 (Al Maktoum Road). Builded in the locality of Al Rigga, the Deira Clocktower, nowdays a prominent attraction in Deira, provides access to the Al Maktoum Bridge, the prototype land crossing constructed between Deira and Bur Dubai.
Similar many of Dubai’s former architectural projects, the Clocktower was constructed by Overseas AST in approximately 1964. However, by 1972, the monument had started to crack and corrode the steel reinforcements, as a result of the unwashed beach sand utilized for the concrete. As a result, the Clocktower was refurbished in 1972.
Dubai’s Clock tower is settled in Diera but was not called Diera Clock tower. Clock tower was erected as a symbol of Dubai and settled in Diera because that was where major routes into Dubai converged prior to the building of Dubai and Abu Dhabi Road.
